Support for Teachers registration
Register to access the Teachers' Guides [and Interpretations sections] of each of the Mystery websites.
The "Interpretations" section of each of the sites requires an additional password in order to prevent students -- our prime target audience -- from reading any particular historical interpretation as "the right answer" to the historical mystery. We have included an "Interpretations" section of the site because we recognize that some teachers, and more experienced students, may benefit from seeing the kinds of interpretations that historians have made -- and disagreed about -- using the documents provided on the site.
To ensure the passwords go to bona fide teachers or researchers and to track usage, we request a few details about your school/university and the course you are thinking of using the mystery for. When your request is received and reviewed, you will be sent a password which will allow you access to the password-protected "Interpretations" sections of the sites.
Because our staff work part-time, it may take up to a week to receive your password.
Information on this form will not be shared with any other organization and will be used solely to ensure that the passwords are going to bona fide teachers or researchers, to give us an indication of the range of courses and number of teachers using the site, and to alert teachers to major changes in the status of the sites or passwords.
